Staking W3GG tokens is an integral part of participating in the W3GG ecosystem. Token holders can lock their $W3GG tokens to earn rewards, participate in governance, launchpad access and access various benefits within the community.
Dynamic APR
The staking reward APR will adjust dynamically based on the lock-up terms and total amount of tokens staked. Rewards allocation will be higher for longer-term lockups.
Lock-up Periods
Token Holders can choose to stake $W3GG tokens flexibly, with no lock-up period, or for a set period of time to enjoy higher staking rewards.
Flexible: Participants can choose to stake their tokens with no lock-up period and withdraw at anytime without penalty.
30 days: Participants can choose to stake their tokens for a minimum of 30 days.
60, 90 and 180 days: Longer staking durations offer higher APRs and positive multipliers. These range from a 1.2x multiplier for a 30-day period, 1.5x for 60-day period, 1.9x for 90-day period or up to a 2.5x multiplier for a 180-day period.
When staking tokens for fixed periods of 30, 60, 90, or 180 days, the staking pool will receive a higher weighted share of the total rewards based on a multiplier. For example, the 180-day pool receives 2.5x the share of rewards compared to the flexible pool. However, individual stakers within each pool will still share rewards based on the total amount staked in their respective pool.
Staking Benefits
By staking $W3GG tokens, token holders will benefit from:
Diversified Rewards: Staked W3GG tokens will eventually generate staking points, which will determine eligibility to participate in rewards from the wider W3GG gaming eco-system. The longer the staking period, the higher the multiplier for staking points generation, enhancing the benefits received. (More details on the staking points system will be revealed soon)
Governance Participation: Staking also grants token holders governance rights within the W3GG ecosystem. These rights include voting on various proposals that shape the future direction of the platform (release in 2025)
Launchpad: Stakers who satisfy all eligibility requirements, can participate in token sales for the best web3 gaming projects vetted by W3GG.
